Airport and Travel Information
There are three airports near Milan.
Milan (Bergamo) – Orio al Serio
Ryan Air flies into this airport and it is only 35 kilometres from the feis.

Milan – Malpensa
This airport is about 45 kilometres from the feis.

Milan – Linate
This airport is only a about 3 kilometres from the centre of Milan.


There are cheap and frequent buses which will take you from all of the above airports into the centre of Milan. All buses generally arrive at the Central Train Station (Stazione Centrale).

From there you can take the metro (underground) to Sesto San Giovanni. From the Central train station take the metro GREEN LINE (direction Gessate\Cologno). After two stops you have to change lines, so get off at LORETO and take the RED LINE (direction Sesto).
For the feis you should get off at SESTO FS.
The trip will take approx. 15 mins. and costs euro 1,50.

Sesto San Giovanni (the location of The Milan Feis) is a 10 minute metro ride from the centre of Milan.

Just SOME sites to see in the centre
– Duomo (cathedral)
- Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II
- Castello Sforzesco

Milan is famous for fashion and design, Milan is a shopaholic's dream ...

'Corso Buenos Aires' is the biggest shopping street in the city and one of the largest in the whole Europe, comprising dozens of shops offering many different genres of merchandise, with clothes prevailing.  Other shopping opportunities in Milan include such luxury shopping area in Milan as Via Montenapoleone, Via della Spiga and Via Sant'Andrea. They are worth a visit if not to buy just to see!!!


Lake Como
Lake Como is only a 30 min. train ride from Milan. Well worth a visit even for a couple of hours.

Lake GardaGarda is the largest and most popular of the Italian Lakes.
Desenzano, which is just one of the pretty towns situated on the lake, is just one hour by train from Milan. You will also find Guardaland (a large amusement park) close by.

There are many, many sight to see in Italy. Above we have named just a few which are near and easy to reach by car or train. If you want to go further a field there is
- ROME (5/6 hours by train)
- VIENICE (3 hours by train)
- FLORENCE (3 hours by train)

And not forgetting - Milan is only an hour an half from the sea – The Italian Rivera.
